The questions we hear most often, answered plainly.
- What electronics do you accept?
- Phones, tablets, laptops, cameras and lenses, smartwatches, and game consoles. We also buy luxury watches and gold. If you are not sure whether something fits, tell us what you have and we will look at it.
- Where are the meetup locations?
- We meet at 300 Great Oaks Blvd, Albany, NY 12203, by appointment — it's a meetup point, not a walk-in location. We also come to you when that spot is inconvenient. See our contact page for hours and to set a time.
- Do you buy broken devices?
- Often, yes. A cracked screen, a dead battery, or a device that will not power on does not automatically rule it out. Tell us honestly what is wrong with it and we will look at it in person and make the call from there.
- Do you buy in bulk or estate lots?
- Yes, bring the whole lot. A drawer full of old phones, a closet shelf, or an estate cleanout is exactly the kind of thing worth calling ahead about so we can plan enough time to look at everything.
- What do I need to bring?
- Bring the device itself, charged if possible, with any SIM or memory cards already removed. Sign out of iCloud, Google, or Samsung accounts and factory reset it before the meetup. Our before-you-sell checklist walks through every step.
